Musical markings indicate many things about pieces, including indications of tempo, what to do with dynamics, what style to play, and many other characteristic of the piece. These flashcards display the most commonly used Italian general musical markings and their definitions. In Level 1, 85 general musical markings are included, such as accelerando, animato, con fuoco, dolente, maestoso, pesante, risoluto, senza, staccato, tranquillo, tutti, and much more.
